Client successes are the most viable proof that we're doing things the right way. Second to that are the industry awards. Lately, we've been excelling at all of the above.

Awards and Recognitions: 2008
  • Xerox Frugal Color won Best Use of Rich Media at the New York Festival.
  • Beanie Awards, PointRoll Monthly won Outstanding Use of Features for the Colgate-Palmolive Get Irish Now campaign.
  • The Interactive Media Awards has recognized VML with two outstanding achievements for Sprint Picture Mail and Microsoft Xbox.
  • VML named Best of Interactive at the Kansas City ADDY Awards in February. The Best of Interactive recognition was presented for www.snapple.com, created by VML for Snapple’s parent company, Cadbury Schweppes. Additionally, VML was awarded 13 Gold ADDYs in the following categories: Advertising for the Arts & Sciences, Advertising Industry Self-Promotion and Interactive Media. VML secured Gold ADDY’s for clients Burger King; Cadbury Schweppes’ brands Dr Pepper (2 Gold), Diet Dr Pepper, Snapple (3 Gold) and Sunkist; Colgate-Palmolive’s Irish Spring; and Xerox Corporation’s Frugal Color affordable printing campaign (2 Gold). A first-place Gold ADDY was awarded to VML’s V2 division for the art catalog produced for VML Vice President/Creative Director and well-known Midwest artist, Guinotte Wise. The final Gold ADDY was secured for VML’s recent interactive holiday creative campaign, VML Handbell Hero, featuring the VMBells. VML also received 22 Silver and 18 Bronze; all told, the agency received a total of 54 program awards
  • The Web Marketing Association announced the winners of the Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards and VML was recognized with 6 Best Awards (featuring the work of five separate clients) and 5 Outstanding Awards. Awards were presented to VML for online advertising developed for a total of six client partners: Burger King, Cadbury Schweppes, Colgate-Palmolive, Microsoft, Sears and Xerox.
