We’re looking for entrepreneurial, fearless candidates with at least five to eight years experience managing digital marketing projects. Comfort with and passion for technology is required. Technical Director

Job Requirements:


  • Technical Experience and Background: candidates will have had previous exposure to and will have been deeply engaged in various stages of software methodologies. Have had experience performing in various roles throughout the SDLC, for example, Developer, Designer (BSA) or Tester. Having this experience provides the individual with a different vision into the necessities, complications and challenges, and can define solutions enabling the teams to overcome these barriers to successfully deliver an engagement.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: this individual will have displayed strong leadership skills and have successfully performed leadership roles at the team and engagement level. They have provided guidance, suggestions and feedback to individuals, teams and clients to ensure successful delivery. This individual will have had specific experience leading technical resources and engagements.

  • Strong Communication Skills: these individuals have proven the ability to speak confidentially in various situations with the client, within VML technology and with fellow VML teams. They are comfortable speaking at an individual and group level. They have the ability to filter and present the appropriate information to the appropriate people at the right time. They can communicate positive and negative information efficiently, attempting to turn negatives into positives.

  • Strong Management Skills: these individuals have a proven track regard in managing workload, deliverables, schedules, etc. at both an individual and team level. They have the ability to get the right tasks in the right hands and see it through to completion.

  • Strong Decision Making Skills: these individuals have the ability to make critical task, engagement and business decisions. They have the ability to identify and gather the appropriate information and facts to make these decisions. They have the ability to effectively communicate the decision and support for their decision to the appropriate audience. They have the ability to make these decisions instantaneously when required to provide direction for a task or engagement.

  • Education and Experience: prefer a bachelor’s degree appropriate to supported area or in computer science and 10 years experience or five of project execution and management experience and well-developed client skills. Master’s degree is a plus.

    Operations Project Manager –Embedded

    Location: Seattle
    Department: Project Management

    The Operations Project Manager will report into the Wunderman Network directly, but will work on a day-to-day basis in the offices of T-Mobile in the capacity of a vendor. This role will drive the campaign process through the T-Mobile teams on behalf of, and in partnership with, the Wunderman Network. While the role requires a self-managed leader with project management skills and experience, it also seeks a flexible, rational, fun personality who is capable of making on-the-fly decisions at a project and program level in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position requiring no less than 40 hours per week. The T-Mobile offices are located in the Factoria neighborhood of Bellevue. Parking is provided, mass transit is not.

    Required Capabilities

    -          Manage campaign portfolio in partnership with Wunderman Account, PM, Strategy and Data teams to own and deliver the all-up Wunderman project status dashboard and a high-level road map of initiatives that are consistently updated to reflect business priorities, constraints and dependencies
    -          Work with T-Mobile teams to define program and project goals, ensure alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives and develop implementation plans ensuring cross-functional feasibility within T-Mobile partners, stakeholders and team members
    -          Ensure timely communication and escalate program issues, risks, constraints and dependencies to management and key program stakeholders — know what to escalate and to whom at all times.
    -          Support program pilots as necessary to verify initiative impacts on strategic business objectives
    -          Demonstrate ability to lead programs in an objective manner
    -          Identify process improvements to make execution process more efficient and/or effective
    -          Work cross-functionally with Customer Service, IT, Training, Communications, Resource Planning, Service Partners, Business Systems Analysis, Device Support & Launch, Finance and Operations, building credibility and establishing rapport with stakeholders at multiple levels
    -          Work in an embedded capacity as part of T-Mobile’s Customer Marketing teams

    Qualifications & Skills

    -          No less than five years managing multiple projects in a marketing environment
    -          Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or related field

    Proofreader

    Proofread previously edited copy before it is placed in layout form checking for:

    -       Spelling, grammar, punctuation and word usage
    -       Style and consistency, overall copy flow and tone
    -       Accuracy of content and querying as necessary

    Review the arrangement of text, images and design elements checking for the following:

    -       Adherence to specs including typeface, size, kerning, leading, line length, page dimension, rags, wraps, rules, bleeds, screens, spot color and drop shadows
    -       Inclusion of special elements including branding, trademarks, legalese, copyright, logos and client-specific requirements
    -       Common and uncommon errors including dropped text, transposed captions, double spaces, etc.
    -       Overall presentation of the artwork

    What we’re looking for:

    -       Five-plus years of editing and proofreading experience in an agency environment
    -       Technical writing experience is a plus

    Account Manager/Senior Account Manager

    Location: Bentonville, Arkansas

    VML is searching for an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to work on-site at a large retailer in Bentonville, AR. The Account Manager would fill several functions:

    -Represent VML at this large retailer, providing assistance and advice on digital marketing and ecommerce initiatives to their team members
    -The Account Manager would also work as an extension of this client’s marketing team, performing general marketing tasks that may include social media activation, mobile marketing or campaign development as directed by the client
    -When VML works on specific projects, the Account Manager would serve as the project champion, providing marketing guidance and leadership to the Creative and Technical teams in Kansas City. The Account Manager will have to periodically travel to Kansas City to provide guidance to the team or to attend training.
    -Form relationships with marketing stakeholders within the client atmosphere and share with VML information about business challenges and opportunities they are experiencing
    -Perform standard account management tasks for VML, including updating status sheets, writing scopes of work, writing conference reports, developing creative briefs, organizing information, ensuring that projects are on schedule, suggesting new projects, etc.

    Senior User Experience Architect

    Our ideal candidate for this position possesses a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in the liberal arts, the humanities or user-centered design or equivalent in a related field, and a minimum of five years of experience researching and developing strategic user-experience design for high-traffic, dynamic websites.
