Art Directors at VML don’t sit around concepting and directing – they actually design. And more importantly, they’re not a one-man band. We’re seeking entrepreneurial, fearless candidates with at least two to five years experience managing digital and/or traditional marketing projects for our next account manager opening.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
- Two to five years of full-time experience in marketing or advertising
- Agency experience is preferred
- Ability to think strategically on behalf of clients in a variety of industries
- Superior communication skills required -- internal and client-facing
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal teams and business groups including Creative, Media and Technical Delivery Specialists
Familiarity with ecommerce and online advertising is necessary. This candidate must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and comfortable making their own decisions. Organizational skills are imperative.

Department: Applied Technologies Group
This position is responsible for using marketing analytics to develop analytics implementation and optimization plans that become integral to our clients’ overall business strategies. He/she will partner with clients and internal stakeholders to design and implement measurement and optimization plans that capture appropriate performance metrics and demonstrably increase ROI. He/she is responsible for the development and execution of test plans and analytical approaches that improve the digital experience enable targeted communications and drive desired consumer behaviors. The Senior Web Analyst will be able to translate requirements to technical development teams, and he/she will also be extremely comfortable consulting on solutions with senior-level clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-BA or BS, MBA preferred (quantitative coursework like mathematics, statistics a plus, but not necessarily required)
-Three to five years of web metrics experience, including three years of experience implementing and using Omniture or similar tools such as WebTrends, Coremetrics, Indextools, etc.
-Experience using testing tools like Omniture Test&Target, Optimost and SiteSpect
-Expertise with BI tools such as Brio, Business Objects, Microstrategy and Cognos, with experience writing and tuning SQL queries in online or offline environment
-Expert at Excel, strong skills with MS Access and Office
-Mid-level expertise in SEM/PPC, SEO and Online Campaign strategies and a minimum of one-year experience measuring success of these types of efforts
-Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources
-Business analysis experience in large companies with multiple functions/divisions helpful

Responsibilities will include:
- Educating internal and external clients in all matters related to user-centered design
- Conducting stakeholder interviews to determine business / site objectives
- Conducting user interviews to assess needs and analyze task flows
- Performing heuristic site evaluations
- Performing competitive site audits
- Creating information design and navigation flows for internet, intranet and extranet sites, as well as online applications
- Creating and revising information architecture documents including content matrices, user personas and scenarios, site maps, wire frames, flow diagrams, and user requirements documents
- Preparing and presenting design recommendations based on user research and Information Architecture principles
What we’re looking for:
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design and HCI principles and user analysis techniques
- A minimum of three years experience strategizing and architecting user experience design for high-traffic dynamic websites
- Experience with one or more diagramming tools (e.g., Visio)
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced, flexible environment
- Willingness to travel

What we're looking for:
- Three to five years of experience managing digital marketing projects
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
- Agency experience is required
- Comfort with technology is required; passion for/interest in technology is a plus
- Superior communication skills required, internal and client-facing
- Candidate must have the ability to present in all settings
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal disciplines and business groups, including Account Management, Creative and Professional Services and Development teams in a fast-paced, flexible environment
- Smart, independent thinker who can take initiative and get things done
- Experience implementing integrated campaigns a plus
- Ability to lead and manage multiple projects
- Must be team oriented and self-motivated
Must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and comfortable making your own decisions. Must be organized and able to work on several different accounts over the course of a day or week.
