Account Management
Assistant Account Managers are dedicated to helping coordinate the execution of campaigns/projects and providing general support to the account service team or teams. This includes maintaining daily/weekly status, organization of team meetings, preparing project/creative briefs and more.
The Assistant Account Manager is an entry-level position in Account Management. Qualified candidates will hold a college degree and possess solid communication, organizational and project management skills.
Account Managers handle the day-to-day operations of agency projects including research, scope development, creative briefing and job execution. Responsible for base level of client contact, management of status reports and ensuring agency procedures are followed.
Account Managers must have a minimum of one-year advertising agency experience and a working skill set including relationship management, organizational/project management and developed communication skills.
The Senior Account Manager position begins the transition into strategic planning within account management. Many of the job responsibilities are consistent with an Account Manager role; however, this position manages multiple relationships with the clients, leads/develops initial strategic input and sets expectations for project delivery. Additionally, a Senior Account Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading effective relationships across agency departments.
A Senior Account Manager will have a minimum of three years of experience in Account Management and advanced competencies in relationship management, organizational/project management, communication skills, problem-solving and strategic thinking.
The Account Supervisor is responsible for overall agency services on accounts. Account Supervisors are responsible for supervision of account team personnel which includes training, motivation and performance development. Externally, the Account Supervisor is responsible for developing a close relationship with senior-level client contacts, establishing marketing objectives effectively while managing income results for the agency.
Qualified candidates for the position of Account Supervisor will ideally have a minimum of five years of experience in Account Management and superior competencies in relationship and client management, personnel management, organizational/project management, communication skills, problem-solving, proactive innovation and strategic thinking.
