Each year The Effie Awards recognize all forms of marketing based on effectiveness. The judges place emphasis on results garnered for the client and a focused strategy. Two VML projects were selected as finalists: Gatorade’s web series “Everything to Prove” in the Energy/Nutrition Product & Services category and Xerox’s Ready for Real Business in the Corporate Reputation/Professional Services category.

VML Recognized with 32 ADDY Awards
With more than 40,000 entries, the ADDY Awards are the world’s largest advertising competition. Entrants have the opportunity to compete at the local level, move on to districts and ultimately be honored as one of the best of the best at the national ADDY competition. This year VML won 12 Gold, 11 Silver and nine Bronze ADDYS at the local level for work done for Kellogg, Tom’s of Maine, Gatorade, Quiznos, The Kansas City Royals, Southwest Airlines, USA Pro Cycling Challenge and Dell. VML was also awarded Best of Interactive for the Gatorade G Force B2B Sales App.

Internet Advertising Competition (IAC)
Gatorade Awarded Best of Show for Gatorade’s G Series Outfuel
The Web Marketing Association hosts the annual Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards. In 2012, VML was awarded 13 awards, including Best of Show for Gatorade’s G Series Outfuel Rich Media Online Campaign. The Best of Show award from IAC is a first for VML.
VML was also recognized as an Outstanding Advertising Developer in the 2011 IAC Awards for winning six or more awards.
