Community Dedication
What if VML can make a difference to this special community we call home?
We believe we can. Since day one, we've felt it's important to give back to Kansas City and the nation. We strive to do our part to give back to our community, and support the programs that affect those around us.
VML gives more than 10 percent of our pre-tax income through cash donations and sponsorships, internal fundraisers, volunteer time off for employees and billable pro bono hours. That's significantly more than the industry average. We do this because we love it and because we care.

VML Foundation
The VML Foundation was established in 2005 as a way to facilitate VML's corporate giving and sponsorships. Employees are given the opportunity to participate in the Foundation through various volunteer opportunities and a payroll-deduction program.
A volunteer advisory board allocates funds to a variety of charitable organizations, who are again, identified by employees.
Community Outreach
As we have grown as a company, so too has our ability to touch the lives of those around us. In addition to contributing to organizations financially and through our pro bono work, we offer our employees two paid-days each year to go out into the community and help one or more charities.
Giving back to the community has become so ingrained in the VML culture that we even close our offices one day each year to give back to the communities and the people around us. We've painted houses, cleaned-up schools and prepared and packed meals for those living with HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses. And while we are spread throughout the United States and the world, we go united. We go as one.
