Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) appoints VML London as digital partner

VML London has been appointed by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) to transform and rebuild its digital presence, focusing on as the priority for 2013. The key objective of the partnership will be to increase the appreciation of architecture, and architects, among the wider population, promoting the value architecture plays in society. The appointment follows a pitch earlier this year.


Maxine McKenzie, head of marketing, RIBA said, “We are delighted to be working with VML on the redevelopment of The project is a big undertaking for the RIBA and we chose VML because they really inspired and excited us with their vision, whilst also instilling confidence in their ability to successfully deliver the project.”


Chris Wood, managing director of VML London said, “We’ve tasked ourselves with creating something in a digital format that can match the form and function of the architectural masterpieces RIBA champion.  I don’t think briefs get much more exciting than that, and we are excited to have this opportunity.”
