VML ANNOUNCES KEY MANAGEMENT PROMOTIONS

KANSAS CITY, MO (March 24, 2008) – VML, one of the top 20 interactive marketing agencies in the U.S., announced the promotion of Eric Campbell and Debbi Vandeven to executive management positions. In addition, Chris Haggerty and Beth Wade have advanced to key management positions at the agency.

Eric Campbell has been named Chief Engagement Officer. In this role, Eric leads the agency’s efforts to innovate, balance, and manage the integrity of VML’s solutions delivery go-to-market for clients and partners. Eric is also a Partner at VML and previously served as Managing Director of VML’s Delivery Services group. He spearheaded the continuous improvement of VML’s delivery model, process methodology and project management framework. This team serves as the link between strategic planning, execution and technology for VML’s clients and partners. Eric has been with VML for 10 years.

Debbi Vandeven has been named Executive Creative Director. In this role, Debbi oversees the agency’s creative ideation and output, with a fulltime talent base of nearly 100 individuals, including creative directors, copywriters, art directors and designers. Debbi and her team have received hundreds of national and international creative awards, including campaigns recognized by Cannes Cyber Lions, Webby Awards, WebAwards, and ADDY Awards, to name a few. Debbi is a Partner at VML and previously served as Managing Creative Director; she has been with VML for eight years.

All of the individuals promoted within our management group are proven leaders with the highest level of digital expertise,” said Matt Anthony, VML CEO. “They have each played a key role in the agency’s expanded offerings and the growth of our business over the years.”

Chris Haggerty has been promoted to Director of Project Management, overseeing VML’s critical Delivery Services Group. Previously, he served as a Lead Delivery Specialist on Eric Campbell’s team. Chris is a Partner at VML and has been with the agency for five years.

Beth Wade has been named Director of Client Services. In her new role she oversees VML’s 80-person account management team. Beth is a Partner at VML and previously served as Director of Organizational Development. She has been with VML for five years.

In addition to these key management promotions, VML also named several new people to its growing Partner team. The following VML employees were named Partner at the agency’s annual meeting held in February: Jeremy Schutte, Group Creative Director; Jim Radosevic, Managing Director/Managing Creative Director New York City; Linda Bumgarner, Group Creative Director; Mike Lundgren, Director of Creative Technology; Scott Evans, Senior Technical Architect and Steve Schlegel, Director of IT.
