VML was tasked with building a mobile presence for WPP, a world leader in marketing communications.  The goal was to translate the most relevant WPP information on WPP.com and make it available to WPP employees and the public on the go via mobile devices.

The WPP mobile site features a public-facing section allowing any user on WPP.com to search for a WPP company or company office and obtain details including email, address and phone numbers. Users can also view the latest press releases from WPP and obtain its current share price.  Click here to view more information about the site or visit m.wpp.com on your mobile device.

Additionally, the site provides a mobile version of insideWPP — WPP’s intranet.  Here, insideWPP users can search for any WPP employee listed in the WPP directory —obtain their company, office, email and phone number.  The mobile version of insideWPP also provides press releases, share price, company and office detail.
 
The mobile site optimizes for different mobile devices and provides an easy, fast way to research WPP companies and their employees and receive the latest news in marketing and the WPP world on a mobile phone.
