Chief Strategy Officer
Michal is founder, chief strategy officer and president of VML Polska, a major European division of the VML network advertising agency from the WPP holding. He is responsible for the development of marketing strategies in the EMEA and globally. He also carries out consulting projects oriented at digitalization of the operation of major enterprises and creating value by the implementation of disruptive innovations.
As of 2001, Michal has been building up a marketing group, which comprises among others agencies Heureka, Pride&Glory and Brand Fibres, later transformed into VML. In his early days, he edited top television entertainment shows.
Together with the team, Michal won the title of the Interactive Agency of the Year and the Interactive Group of the Year, as well as more than 80 awards and distinctions in European and U.S. advertising festivals. This include Effie, Innovation Awards, Golden Drum, KTR, MIXX Awards, Golden Arrow and Magellan Awards.
Michal is a regular speaker at sectoral conferences and a member of the IAB Programme Board. Distinguishments include Man of the Year title by MIXX Awards, as well as Man of Advertising title by the “Brief” magazine. His hobbies include theatre and painting, and he produced the recognized monodrama “Heavenly Father” (Ojciec Bóg).
