flynas, Saudi Arabia’s low-cost airline, turned something hiding in plain sight into a premium experience offered by no other airline. Using machine learning, we mapped over 120 flynas flights, identifying and plotting every iconic view from each side of the plane. So passengers can simply choose their seat based on the view that comes with it.

From takeoff to landing, passengers constantly photograph and share what they see from the sky. Yet the view has never been part of the decision.

flynas, Saudi Arabia's low-cost airline, turned something that was hiding in plain sight into a premium experience offered by no other airline. flynas presents 'Seat with a View', the world's first intelligent seat selector, letting passengers choose their view before takeoff, free of charge. With machine learning, we mapped over 120 flynas flights across our network, plotting every iconic view visible from each side of the plane, while factoring in flight time, direction, and altitude. The data was transformed into an Al-powered visualization engine that predicts the views passengers can see from their exact window seat.

'Seat with a View' lit up radars on the future of air travel. Passengers were reminded of scenic views coming up their way, encouraging them to share the moment. The content created by travelers is now used to promote flynas destinations, extending the experience beyond the plane.
