David is VML UK’s Chief Experience and Data Officer, joining the agency in 2015. His experience traverses many industry verticals, and he’s been passionately helping turn clients’ CX, CRM and data ambitions to realities for well over 20 years.​

Having started his career at a data services provider, David has since worked agency side, across various disciplines, starting as a CRM analyst and campaign developer, evolving into a data strategy specialist and latterly to a leader of 200+ passionate CRM, CX and data professionals in the UK and across EMEA. ​

David has worked with dozens of clients to accelerate their journeys to customer-centricity, including Shell, Samsung, Coca Cola and BT; contributing to their commercial success and 30+ award wins. ​

David has sat on the IDM/DMA Data Council for many years, been an IPA Effectiveness Champion and has been voted in the Data IQ 100; the most important and influential people in data-driven business. His thought-leadership has been published by The Guardian Media Network, Information Age, CIM, i-Com, Data IQ and the DMA.
