In a world where chronic conditions can dim spirits, Sanofi faced the challenge of pushing for advances in medical science and also to reignite hope and purpose in people's lives. VML Health was tasked to create a campaign that translated Sanofi’s commitment and purpose into a powerful, universal message that resonated with everyone, especially those facing daily health struggles.
"The Power of Chasing a Dream" became the bedrock of the campaign’s strategy. By focusing on individuals' personal aspirations, we transcended the clinical narrative by tapping into a shared human experience. Sanofi's bravery in embracing such a deeply human idea, coupled with their desire to integrate this "chasing a dream" ethos into their corporate strategy, drove our creative approach.
Unleashing Dreams: A Cinematic Journey. Our solution, "The Power of Chasing a Dream," is a groundbreaking cinematic campaign reimagining the usual creative style adopted by the pharmaceutical industry. We commissioned an award-winning director, Henry Da Costa, and blended epic action movie aesthetics with intimate, inspirational stories of people managing chronic health conditions. Using cutting-edge CGI, we brought their personal dreams to the screen, crafting stories that also resonated across diverse global markets. This approach was original, simple, and exciting.
