Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for a highly organized and strategically minded SEO Project Manager to join our growing digital team. In this critical role, you will act as the central coordination point between our internal SEO team and a variety of business units, ensuring SEO initiatives are aligned with broader business goals and effectively communicated across teams.
This is a strategic project management and stakeholder communication role—not a hands-on SEO execution position. You will need a solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and the ability to translate technical insights into clear, actionable guidance for internal teams.
What you’ll be doing:
SEO Team Coordination & Oversight

Serve as the primary liaison and point of contact for the internal SEO team.

Manage SEO workflows to ensure timely delivery of audits, strategies, reports, and recommendations.

Review and assess SEO deliverables for quality, alignment with goals, and actionable value.

Facilitate regular SEO team meetings, including agenda setting and action item tracking.
Internal Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Content.

Translate complex SEO strategies into clear, business-friendly insights.

Gather business requirements and strategic inputs to inform SEO planning.

Present SEO performance updates and champion best practices internally.
Project & Workflow Coordination

Oversee the implementation of SEO recommendations across IT, development, and content teams.

Identify and resolve workflow roadblocks or dependencies.

Ensure all SEO activities are documented, tracked, and aligned to broader project timelines.

Support stakeholder decision-making for SEO-related initiatives.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor the performance of SEO programs using internal data and reporting tools.

Provide summaries and strategic insights to senior leadership, highlighting trends and opportunities.
What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in digital marketing with a strong SEO focus — or project management in a digital environment with SEO literacy.

Demonstrated experience leading internal teams or cross-functional initiatives.

Strong understanding of SEO concepts including technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, and keyword research.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify technical content for non-technical audiences.

High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Experience working within complex organizations — financial services industry experience is a strong plus.

Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
