The Agile Project Manager assumes a crucial role in advancing our client's success, thereby contributing significantly to the ongoing growth of our brand. In this capacity, they will take charge of supervising digital commerce projects at the enterprise level, guiding them from initiation to completion. This involves closely coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams to craft outstanding commerce experiences, all the while adeptly managing project timelines and budgets. The optimal candidate for this position will demonstrate robust organizational and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with a fervent dedication to leveraging their expertise to propel companies forward in their digital transformation journey.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ATTRIBUTES
- Assumes overall responsibility for ensuring project profitability and adherence to established timelines.
- Proactively manages client communications, fostering strong partnerships with internal teams to guarantee client satisfaction.
- Defines and outlines client requirements and deliverables, establishing clear project scopes.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive project plans, ensuring a structured and organized approach to project management.
- Collaborates effectively with internal teams and client stakeholders, facilitating creative problem-solving and solution brainstorming.
- Coordinates tasks, assigns appropriate resources, and oversees the successful completion of project activities.
- Identifies and communicates potential risks, threats, or opportunities that may impact project success, promptly escalating issues when necessary.
- Recognizes deviations between project scope and desired deliverables, initiating change requests as required to maintain alignment.
- Exercises quality control by reviewing deliverables before client presentation, enhancing documents as needed, and suggesting process improvements when applicable.
- Gains a profound understanding of the client's business, processes, and procedures, applying this knowledge to ensure project success.
- Promotes the use of best practices and incorporates lessons learned from previous projects.
- Actively sharing insights with fellow project management team members.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Over 5 years of project management experience, ideally within a consulting firm, digital agency, or enterprise technology environment.
- Proven experience managing complex software development projects with budgets exceeding $1M and durations of 6+ months.
- Hands-on experience in Agile and Scrum environments; Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
- Proven experience as the main point of contact, ensuring effective communication and client satisfaction.
- Demonstrated success in client-facing roles, with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with the capability to manage multiple workstreams without losing sight of strategic priorities.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and leading through complexity.
- In-depth understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and digital project workflows.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Deep familiarity with CMS platforms such as Magento, SAP Hybris, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Experience leading Creative and Media teams or projects.
- Background in technical project management or digital product delivery.
- Proficiency with project management tools like Mavenlink, Jira, MS Project, or similar.
- Product Owner experience / certification is a plus.
- A collaborative spirit with a sense of humor and strong trivia skills—we value team culture as much as technical excellence.
