As an Account Manager (Freelance), you’ll play a vital part in nurturing strong client relationships, fostering growth on existing accounts, and delivering top-notch work. You’ll be our go-to person, managing medium to large-scale accounts or juggling multiple accounts, and sometimes even independently handling brands within those accounts. This is a freelance opportunity to help us out, but if you’re looking for a permanent full-time position, we’d love to chat about that too!
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Transform the client’s vision and needs into actionable business requirements, collaborate with project teams on deliverables, and keep client expectations in check.
- Build strong day-to-day relationships with Business Communication Leads and Marketers across various markets, ensuring we continue to grow our business and deliver exceptional results.
- Spot opportunities and new interests that clients might not see, helping to drive revenue and serve their business needs as their trusted digital advisor.
- Ensure that work is delivered within budget and manage invoicing in accordance with contract terms.
- Be a shining example of stewardship between the client and the agency, balancing account needs while avoiding unnecessary costs and negotiating essential expenses.
- Gather key client information and pass it on accurately to project teams to ensure effective project scoping.
- Anticipate potential client or revenue issues, proactively address them, and provide management with insightful advice.
Who you are: - At least 2 years of relevant experience in a digital marketing communications role with local and international clients
- A solid understanding of technical audiences and industry demand chains
- A proven track record in developing client relationships and providing excellent service
- Experience managing teams that work cross-functionally within an organization
- You’re proactive, a self-starter, and an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Able to create clear and persuasive presentations with proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
We believe the best work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. That's why we’ve adopted a hybrid approach, with teams in the office an average of four days a week. If you require accommodations or flexibility, please discuss this with the hiring team during the interview process.
