We have the work; you have the chops. Together, nothing can stop us. Create scroll-stopping, neck-turning, convention-defying copy for some of the biggest and most iconic global brands.

Yadda yadda yadda. But no, really, that’s what we offer – and it’s why we need you.

Come wrangle words for us. Dream up ideas with us. Do it as part of our amazing Experience Design team, based in vibrant London or beautiful Copenhagen, and a central part of the CRM, marketing automation and personalization powerhouse that is VML MAP.

What will your day look like?

We’re looking for someone who’s eager to learn, with proven creative writing skills (and fluent/professional proficiency in English), to be our full-time, in-house Copywriter. As our new Copywriter, you will write communications and help develop engaging activations for global clients, based on a clear understanding of their TOVs, business objectives and audiences.

Your primary job will be to create compelling copy for CRM, loyalty and other comms channels. You will:

  • write original copy in American or British English for emails, push notifications, and paid media;
  • revise copy based on internal and client feedback;
  • flawlessly proofread new business and pitch decks;
  • study insights or reports to give your copy a strong conceptual foundation;
  • lean on brand playbooks and tone of voice guides;
  • leverage new, emerging technologies to be the most creative, most efficient writer you can be;
  • play an active role in projects, from initial idea generation to execution and approval.

Who are you going to work with?

As a member of the Experience Design team, you will work closely with talented designers, copywriters, motion designers and creative leads, as well as experience strategists, data scientists, tech developers and project managers.

Our offices are centrally located in London and Copenhagen, and we’ll expect not only great work from you, but also that you contribute to the fun, friendly, collaborative and innovative atmosphere that echoes through our office space. We come from diverse backgrounds and have unique skill sets, so you’ll get plenty of opportunities to apply your expertise, and to grow.

What do you bring to the table?

You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times. Your positive, conscientious, and solution-oriented mindset enables you to digest complex information and translate strategy and insights into persuasive copy and exciting ideas. You value diligent editing, ensuring all deliveries are flawless and effective.

 Required skills and qualifications

  • 3+ years of copywriting experience from an advertising or in-house agency
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent/professional proficiency in English
  • A relevant background in journalism, English, communications, advertising, or similar
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines
