What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an Associate Copywriter to join our Kansas City creative team. In this role, you will craft compelling narratives and engaging copy that connects with audiences across various channels. You will partner with art directors, strategists, and account teams to bring creative concepts to life, helping to solve client challenges through innovative storytelling.

What You'll Do

  • Write clear, persuasive, and original copy for a variety of mediums, with a strong emphasis on digital and social platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with Art Directors and designers to develop conceptual ideas and execute them seamlessly from brief to final production.
  • Participate actively in creative brainstorms, contributing fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to client briefs.
  • Adapt and champion brand voices to suit different platforms, ensuring consistency and cultural relevance.
  • Present and explain creative concepts to internal teams, clearly articulating how the work achieves the desired business outcomes.
  • Revise and optimize copy based on internal and client feedback, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to the best possible work.

What You'll Need

  • A strong portfolio showcasing creative copywriting skills, conceptual thinking, and an understanding of how to craft a narrative.
  • An understanding of brand voice and the ability to adapt tone across different channels and audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and proofreading skills.
  • Preferred: Experience with social-first campaigns, social media copywriting, or a background in developing social-focused creative.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
