"Foundation Day" is a global initiative by VML to dedicate a day a year to good deeds, in many forms. Employees around the world can participate in hundreds of activities on this day, making Foundation Day one of the most important corporate charity initiatives in the communications industry worldwide.

This year's event took place on Thursday 26 September. Employees of the Czech branch of VML could sign up for one of four activities and volunteer in five Prague shelters or help clean and improve public spaces not only in Prague 7. Another activity was working on a creative brief under the guidance of Chief Creative Officer Jake Barrow for the non-profit organization Zachraň jídlo, which fights food waste in the Czech Republic. Sports enthusiasts could take a bike ride from Holešovice to Roztoky and back and contribute to a good cause through the EPP - Help with Movement app. In the app, the points earned through movement are credited to the selected project, which CEZ Group will support financially through the CEZ Foundation.

In total, the VML agency team managed to make 44 dogs happy by walking them, making toys for them or making their homes more comfortable, remove 27 bags of garbage from Prague's nature, ride 1,300 km on a bicycle for a good cause, and prepare 13 different proposals for a creative campaign for the non-profit organization Zachraň jídlo.
