Tammy Cooksey has worked in human centred design (HCD) for 25 years. During that time she's evolved her HCD practice from purely web, to the full gamot of digital channels, branded experiences and service channels.  As the Head of Experience Strategy (ANZ) at VML, Tammy specialises in crafting meaningful digital and real-world experiences that connect customer needs with brand purpose. Her philosophy centres on creating value-driven solutions to empower businesses in an ever-evolving marketplace.

Throughout that time she has set up a design team for HBF's ambitious $330 million transformation program, reshaped the Water Corporation's Schools Program, designed the Waterwise Student Experience using silent disco technology and developed the audience and journey framework for Synergy which lays out their customer centric roadmap to the energy transition. Other clients include Horizon Power, University of WA, Queensland University of Technology, National Breast Cancer Foundation,  Endeavour Drinks, P&N Bank, Murdoch University, and Curtin University.

At VML, Tammy has built a high performing team of 8 experience strategists, designers and UX designers, who deliver deep consumer research, CX strategy, journey mapping, persona development, ideation and service blueprinting.
