VML Poland partnered with Coca-Cola to reignite the cherished Polish tradition of Sunday dinners. Recognizing a cultural shift that had seen this weekly ritual lose its spontaneous joy, we crafted a campaign that celebrated warmth, authenticity, and human connection over perfection, featuring the beloved culinary icon Magda Gessler.

Many years ago, on the tropical island of Cuba, I discovered the taste of Coca-Cola. I drank it then through a white and pink straw, eagerly, yet savoring each small sip, to make that moment last forever. I was also fascinated by its appearance – the feminine shape of the bottle. And when I first tried it amidst the buzz of a 1960s Cuban bar, I was utterly captivated with delight. It was pure exoticism: colors, passion, and the promise of adventure, all captured in a dewy, frosty bottle. Coca-Cola, served with lime and ice cubes, tasted like something I would never forget. Today, I revisit those memories, because my youthful dreams have just come true. I proudly announce that I have become an ambassador for the 2026 Coke & Meals campaign. I invite you on this extraordinary journey, where we can all indulge guilt-free – after all, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar has no sugar and no calories! And sometimes, just one sip is enough to dare to reach for more.

Polish Sunday dinners lost their magic. They became something reserved for special occasions with white tablecloths and tip-top perfect meals. So people simply stopped doing it. Coca-Cola spotted this cultural shift and wanted to bring back the OG Sunday dinner. Not perfection, but warm connections.

Coca-Cola saw Sunday dinners not as special occasions, but as weekly rituals where Poles find joy in small moments with loved ones. It's not about what's on the table, but who's sitting around it and what stories can be heard.

"Make Sunday Delicious" with culinary icon Magda Gessler as Coca-Cola's ambassador. She embodies everything this campaign stands for - warmth, authenticity, and the belief that it's the people around the table that matter, not the meal itself. Her natural alignment with the idea made her the perfect voice to invite Poles back to their Sunday tables, with Coca-Cola as a companion.

Consumer response has been overwhelmingly positive. The campaign successfully positioned Coca-Cola not just as a beverage, but as an essential part of what makes Sundays special.
