PIZZA HUT LAUNCHES THE PIZZA HUNT VIA VMLYR COMMERCE Video

It’s hard to stay relevant in gaming but for Pizza Hut to capitalise on the new proximity chat function in Call of Duty just days after its launch is a real win. As a COD veteran, I know that if you’re going to get rekt, you may as well do it with a free Pepperoni Lovers.

Pizza Hut wanted to connect more closely to the gaming community and utilise Hut Games – Pizza Hut Australia’s gaming team – to lend a hand

Take advantage of the new Call Of Duty Warzone in-game proximity chat functionality to allow Hut Games streamers to connect with players to take their Pizza Hut orders.

Hut Games – Pizza Hut Australia’s gaming team – and select streamers went on a Pizza Hunt – an in-game pizza ordering service in Call of Duty, giving players the opportunity to order free pizzas in Call of Duty Warzone.

Streamers were able to connect with players via in-game proximity chat to take their pizza orders. Gamers who were able to hunt down the Pizza Hut delivery people in the Al Mazrah map were rewarded instantly with a free pizza.
