We reimagined the classic lottery scratcher as Scratch OFF! - a series of six illustrated cards featuring impossible-to-ignore mosquito bites that begged to be scratched.

During spring, mosquitoes start to swarm, and when they bite, we can’t help but scratch relentlessly. Excessive scratching can even lead to skin infections. That’s why OFF! found a way to help you stop scratching your skin and instead do one final scratch on something far more rewarding, so you’ll never have to scratch again.

Spring brings everyone outside, and mosquitoes follow. That's why OFF! needed a fresh way to get people to pick up repellent, so they could save their skin by helping them save on OFF!

Our research found that only 22% of Americans use repellent, and any time you get bit by a mosquito and start scratching, you're causing more damage to the area. How could we turn mosquito bites into offers for OFF?

We created a series of beautifully designed scratch-off cards that playfully reminded consumers how irritating mosquito bites can be, while rewarding them with offers on OFF! as well as prizes, all by reimagining one of the most traditional commerce media of all time: scratch-off cards. These cards were given away throughout Miami and at participating retailers, and those unable to pick up a physical card could participate by scratching-OFF! online.
