Inspiration

A quarter of a century is a long time, and we wanted to tap into that sense of nostalgia with our campaign. We reminded people that Vodafone has been there all along, quietly enabling Ireland’s goodnight texts, check-in calls, and those over-extended Irish buh-byes.

Idea

To bring this to life across TV, VOD, digital and social, the campaign marks a 25-year milestone spanning changing technology, culture and daily life in Ireland. From comically outdated phones to our first awkward video calls and all the important texts in between, Vodafone’s network has been the consistent backdrop to everyday interactions and relationships.

In our hero TV spot, directed by Tomas Jonsgarden, we capture the human moments Vodafone’s network made possible, combining humour and warmth to show how people relied on it in unmistakably Irish ways.
