Our intern program will run from June 4-August 9. We are working in a hybrid work model, three days per week in person at the office listed.

 

What we are looking for

 

The Intern- Medical Sciences will be responsible for providing scientific and strategic contributions to the development of all types of scientific communications materials related to our clients’ brands and therapeutic areas. The successful candidate will work closely with the Scientific Associate and other members of the Health team to research, write, develop, and deliver scientifically accurate educational materials for target healthcare audiences.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Conducting research on medical and scientific topics relevant to the clients’ brands and therapeutic areas
  • Developing outlines for scientific content, with attention paid to factual accuracy, grammar, and style
  • Assisting in the development of materials such as slide decks (both disease state- and product- specific), scientific digital and print deliverables, and supporting publications, including abstracts, posters and manuscripts
  • Referencing all developed content from peer-reviewed, published material or client provided data. This includes highlighting the supporting statements according to client guidelines, when required

 

Who you are:

 

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Medicine, etc.)
  • Strong interest in medical communications and advertising
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and Microsoft Word

  • Strong ability to communicate with clients and internal team members, to ensure that project goals are understood and met
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment

  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively

 

 

The base hourly rate for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below.
