Who we are looking for:
Associate Account Managers help coordinate the development of campaigns/projects and provide general support to the account service team(s). They maintain daily/weekly status, organize team meetings, produce conference reports, manage aspects of creative development projects, learn VML processes and become familiar with our agency documentation, understanding the purpose of each document and when to use it, and more. The Associate Account Manager is an entry-level role in Account Management and works with the Account Manager and Senior Account Manager. The Associate Account Manager will gain direct experience working with teams to understand and address business and campaign needs while developing essential skills in client-engagement and communications. The idea is that someone looking at an AAM role wants experience and opportunities to improve on and learn important skills.
What you'll do:
- Take accurate meeting notes, capturing action items, and transferring actions to weekly status.
- Track revisions to jobs and ensures information is documented and communicated to team members.
- Maintain weekly status report.
- Coordinate client meetings.
- Help with development and editing business documents.
- Support entry-level financial activities, such as drafting scopes and preparing filling for review with supervisor.
- Ensure collaboration sites are kept current.
- Research client business to begin building self-knowledge of industry.
- Participation in client meetings including status meetings and as directed by supervisor
What you'll bring:
- Foundational knowledge in the advertising space, internships highly preferred
- An interest in digital marketing, shopper marketing/commerce, and advertising
- Enthusiasm to learn and ability to follow direction.
- Able to communicate clearly, thoroughly, succinctly and in a timely manner both verbally and in writing; follow up on outstanding issues; ask relevant questions
- Able to build relationships and collaborate across teams, departments, vendors, and clients to successfully accomplish work
- Strong attention to detail and organization, demonstrated through actions such as:
- Analyzes results, interpret data, draw sound conclusions, and develop insightful and actionable recommendations
- Proactive approach, demonstrated through actions such as anticipating potential problems and obstacles to project success, communicating concerns and developing solutions

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
