Who we're looking for:

VML is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead social media initiatives for one of our largest clients. This strategic leader excels in critical thinking and problem-solving, understanding both strategic vision and tactical execution. They will orchestrate creative, paid social, organic social, and community management teams while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. Our ideal candidate has extensive experience managing social media campaign lifecycles and navigates cross-functional team collaboration across multiple platforms.

What you'll do: 

  • Work | Drive innovative social media campaigns from concept to execution, managing timelines and dependencies. Translate requirements into compelling client proposals and SOWs while ensuring alignment on scope and pricing.
  • People | Lead cross-functional teams to produce award-winning social content while partnering with Account Management to identify growth opportunities. Foster collaboration between creative, production, social, and client teams.
  • Process | Optimize project communication and workflows while balancing complex campaign demands. Champion performance monitoring tools and drive process improvements.
  • Financials | Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring profitability and maximum ROI for social media initiatives.

What you'll need: 

•    4+ years managing complex social media marketing projects in an agency environment
•    Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and mentoring team members
•    Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
•    Experience in project scoping, timeline estimation, and resource management
•    Superior client relationship management and presentation skills
•    Ability to thrive under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
•    Deep passion for social media marketing and advertising industry

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
