The Senior Editor will be the lead on editorial efforts to create materials for broadcast, social platforms, website content and other digital media as part of the Creative Production group 

Responsibilities 

  • Leading video edit projects on one’s own or with supporting team members 
  • Notable editorial technique and artistic style 
  • Attention to detail and accuracy from the initial review through delivery 
  • Maintain consistency in department organization and best practices 
  • Ability to manage project timelines and deliverables while working with the post production team or independently 
  • Receptive to changes in creative direction, timelines, or deliverable expectations 
  • High level knowledge of raw assets, codec, and proxy workflow. 
  • Proficiency with the finishing process including prep and conform of VFX, color grade, and audio mix. 
  • Informed on emerging technologies and applicable tools for editorial and post production 
  • Willingness to mentor and support the collective editorial group 

Requirements 

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in the post production or degree in Fine Arts, Technology 
  • Agency experience is a plus but not required. 
  • Expert knowledge of video editing software, primarily Adobe Premiere. Resolve, Final Cut or Avid a plus 
  • Familiarity with After Effects, Photoshop, and 3rd party tools applicable to the post production workflow
