About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Graphic Designer to join our dedicated client-side team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with our client, a prominent organization in tourism, and contribute to the development and execution of compelling visual communications. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality designs across a variety of platforms, ensuring brand consistency and delivering impactful messaging. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of design principles, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Role Requirements:
- Client-Side Presence: This position requires working on-site at the client's location 5 days a week (Sunday - Thursday).
- Design Execution: Develop and execute creative concepts into visually appealing designs for various marketing materials, including but not limited to:
- Digital advertisements (banners, social media posts, website graphics)
- Print collateral (brochures, flyers, posters, signage)
- Presentations and reports
- Email marketing templates
- Infographics
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to the client's brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the client's marketing team, account managers, and other designers to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Feedback Incorporation: Actively solicit and incorporate feedback from clients and internal stakeholders to refine designs and ensure client satisfaction.
- Stay Updated: Stay abreast of current design trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design skills and contribute innovative ideas.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve design-related challenges, offering creative solutions to meet project objectives.
- Quality Control: Ensure all designs are accurate, error-free, and meet the highest quality standards before delivery.
Desired Skills and Experiences:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Graphic Designer.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, with a particular emphasis on work within the tourism and/or B2B sectors.
- Software Proficiency: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential. Familiarity with other design software (e.g., Figma, Sketch) is a plus.
- Design Principles: Solid understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Arabic language proficiency is highly desirable.
- Client Management: Experience working directly with clients and managing client expectations.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Knowledge of Printing Processes: Understanding of printing processes and file preparation for print production.
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing: Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices for online advertising.
Additional Considerations:
- Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness and sensitivity to Saudi Arabian culture and customs are essential.
- Understanding of the KSA Market: Familiarity with the KSA market landscape, including consumer preferences and trends.
- Ability to work independently: Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively while on client site.
- Proactive and Solution-Oriented: A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving is highly valued.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to present design concepts and rationale to clients in a clear and persuasive manner.
