The VML Marketing Coordinator Program is a large global community of approx. 400 employees sitting at the intersection of Microsoft Marketing and agencies teams. We coordinate campaigns across Microsoft internal stakeholders, VML global Service Delivery Hub teams, and third-party agencies. Campaigns generate sales and leads Microsoft then scores and processes according to their sales strategy.
Regional Social Command Center (RSCC) is an expertise group within the MC Program responsible for coordinating and executing marketing tasks for social campaigns and programs.
Who we're looking for:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Content Creator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a creative powerhouse with deep knowledge of gaming culture, a strong presence on social media platforms, and the ability to create engaging and high-quality content. This role requires a versatile individual who can script, shoot, edit, and engage with audiences both on-camera and through digital content.
What you'll be doing:
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on social media initiatives, ensuring clear communication of successes, challenges, and insights.
- Develop monthly content plans that align with campaign beats, community insights, and global creative direction.
- Maintain a content calendar, ensuring timely and relevant delivery of posts across platforms.
- Script, shoot, and edit both short-form (TikTok, Instagram Reels) and long-form (YouTube) video content.
- Be the on-camera presence for content creation when needed, engaging naturally with the community and showcasing the brand.
- Provide live coverage during key gaming events and launches, capturing real-time content that resonates with audiences.
- Stay up to date with emerging social media trends, gaming news, and tools to ensure content stays relevant and engaging.
- Foster community growth by creating culturally relevant content, engaging with the community, and building strong relationships with gaming influencers.

What you'll need:
- Fluency in Turkish and English (written and spoken).
- A genuine passion for gaming and deep understanding of gaming culture, trends, and community.
- 4+ years of experience in social content creation, with at least 3+ years in content and community engagement.
- Strong storytelling skills with an eye for what performs across different social media formats.
- Experience creating content for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Comfortable being on-camera and confident in representing the brand to a wider audience.
- Skilled in video editing and content creation tools such as CapCut, Canva, and Adobe Photoshop.
- A creative direction mindset, able to take a concept from idea to execution, ensuring consistency in visual style and messaging.
- Strong understanding of visual design basics to ensure engaging, on-brand content.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (like Sprinklr) to track content performance and optimize strategies.
- Ability to adapt content to both global guidelines and local cultural nuances.
- Proactive and highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative with creators, influencers, and the internal team, fostering partnerships that amplify brand messages.
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable with client-facing roles.
- Knowledge of brand guidelines and compliance standards (e.g., data protection, visual consistency).
- Ability to engage with the community whether through replies, discussions, or in-person events, creating a loyal fanbase.
