JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Art Director (ideally with a design background) to join our Wellington-based team.

As part of our creative team you’ll be responsible for developing advertising and communications concepts, producing outstanding and original creative ideas that surpass client expectations and enhance the creative reputation of the agency.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/CAPABILITIES

  • 5+ years experience working as a creative in a creative agency
  • Experience working with every medium, including emerging and digital media
  • The ability to work in a team, as an individual, or with other agency and client partners
  • A clear understanding of marketing and creative strategies
  • Strong design/aesthetic skills and knowledge of advertising art direction
  • Ability to translate creative strategies into dramatic, innovative executional concepts.
  • Demonstrated conceptual thinking with a strong portfolio
  • Capable to work under pressure and with short deadlines when required
  • Ability to manage film and photographic shoots
  • Create and deliver persuasive concept presentations
  • Experience working with studio artists to deliver work and presentations
