We are a large fully integrated creative, media and production team located in central Wellington and have an amazing group of clients we get to collaborate with to make a meaningful difference to the lives of New Zealanders.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced (3+ years) Senior Media Account Manager to join our media team in Wellington. Reporting to the Head of Media or Media Director, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of media campaigns across all channels. You will be the primary media contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm and expertise.

 

RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Develop and implement strategic media plans that align with client objectives.
  • Conduct media and audience analysis to inform planning decisions.
  • Negotiate competitive rates and added value with media owners.
  • Manage media budgets and ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor campaign performance, provide insightful analysis, and make recommendations for optimization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, media partners, and internal teams.
  • Oversee media schedule management, including financial compliance, accuracy, and billing.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in media planning and buying across all channels (including digital).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with media research tools (e.g., Nielsen, TVMap).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • Proficiency in self-serve advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Business Manager).
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and media trends.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
