Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to join our Martech/CRM team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall project management of our Braze platform activations, working closely with a Braze team in both St. Louis and Mexico City (CST), and our client.  You will be the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring clear communication, efficient prioritization, and successful delivery of all activation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Martech experience is highly preferred.

What you’ll do:

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for Braze platform activations.
  • Prioritize activations in collaboration with the client, considering team capacity and business objectives.
  • Manage project scope, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Client Communication and Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, building strong relationships and managing expectations.
  • Attend all client calls, providing updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and gathering requirements.
  • Proactively communicate risks, delays, and potential roadblocks to the client, proposing solutions and alternative approaches.
  • Guide the client to adhere to established processes and workflows, ensuring efficient collaboration.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and motivate the technical team in Mexico (CST), providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Collaborate effectively with Braze resources in St. Louis, ensuring alignment on project goals and technical specifications.
  • Facilitate team meetings, track progress, and identify and resolve any roadblocks.

Process Improvement and Documentation:

  • Maintain and update the Jira board, ensuring accurate tracking of project tasks and progress.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and workflows, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate regular reports on the number of activations completed, project status, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze project data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Present project updates and reports to stakeholders, including clients and internal management.

Who you are:

Skill Set/Experience & Tools:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, preferably in a Martech environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Jira for project tracking and management.
  • Campaign Management experience is a must.
  • Knowledge of the Twilio Segment and Braze platforms is highly preferred.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and delivering client-facing projects.
  • Experience working with remote teams, particularly in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Successfully prioritize activations with the client, based on team capacity.
  • Accurate and timely reporting on the number of activations completed.
  • Well-maintained and up-to-date Jira board.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey information.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all project-related tasks.
  • Patience and empathy when working with clients, understanding their needs and concerns.
  • Strong personality and the ability to confidently push back when necessary, ensuring adherence to processes and project goals.
  • Ability to guide clients to follow established processes and workflows.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration).
  • 5-7+ years of experience in technical project management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
