The Account Supervisor will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, including direct communication with internal and external leads. This position requires strong cross-functional collaboration, working closely with internal Discoverability, Creative, and Strategy teams, as well as external agency partners. The Account Supervisor will lead internal VML teams, managing daily project workflows, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work, and guiding project teams effectively.
What You'll Do:
- Manage Digital Shelf Strategy & Content: Apply knowledge of digital shelf fundamentals (product listings, content, search visibility) and eCommerce platforms (Amazon, Walmart, etc.). Optimize product content (titles, descriptions, bullet points, images, videos) and ensure SEO best practices (keyword research, hidden keywords), content compliance, and brand guidelines are met.
- Lead Client & Partner Communications: Serve as the main contact for client and their 12 brand teams, including daily collaboration with the Associate Manager of Digital Content. Lead weekly 1-hour client status meetings to review project status, discuss upcoming work, and address questions. Maintain consistent direct communication with additional agency partners.
- Facilitate Client Meetings: Attend monthly 30-minute to 1-hour brand meetings for all client and brand leads to discuss active and upcoming projects, and client/brand questions, including reviewing status documents.
- Oversee Internal Team & Project Management: Lead the internal VML team, communicating client requests daily. Manage active projects/deliverables (typically 6-10 simultaneously) and create/manage project timelines daily. Lead twice-weekly internal status meetings to ensure timelines and deliverables are on track.
- Manage Financials & Resourcing: Work biweekly with VML Finance Leads on project budget tracking, monthly budget forecasting, monthly billing and invoicing, and project percent complete. Attend and participate in monthly P5 Revenue meetings. Lead all scoping efforts for incremental and annual needs, requesting resources per scope, and acting as a contact for internal VML department leads for FTE adjustments.
- Handle Project Support Requests: Manage stock image purchasing requests (tracking, creating/submitting purchase requests, working with art buyer as needed) and submit proofing requests during internal project reviews.
- Develop & Present Client Deliverables: Lead the creation and team preparation of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Brand/Category Search Insights presentations. Lead the scheduling of these presentations with the client.
Who You Are:
- Client-Centric Leader: You possess a natural ability to build strong, lasting client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and proactive partner.
- Strategic Thinker: You can connect client objectives with creative and strategic solutions, demonstrating a strong understanding of the marketing and advertising landscape, particularly within the digital shelf.
- Exceptional Communicator: You are articulate and persuasive, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. You excel at leading meetings and presentations.
- Proactive Problem Solver: You anticipate challenges, identify solutions, and take initiative to resolve issues efficiently.
- Organized and Detail-Oriented: You manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision, maintaining meticulous records and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborative Team Player: You thrive in a cross-functional environment, fostering positive relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Financial Acumen: You understand the importance of budget management, forecasting, and billing.
- Adaptable and Resilient: You can navigate a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry, embracing new challenges.
What You'll Need:
