Project Manager, Consumer Website (Ford)
About the Role:
We're seeking a proactive and skilled Project Manager to drive the execution of content strategies and site maintenance for our consumer website. You'll manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they're delivered on time, within the allocated resource hours, and to high-quality standards. You'll collaborate with a talented cross-functional team and external partners, proactively identifying and resolving risks. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of digital project management, content management systems, and agile methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead internal and external teams, fostering collaboration and clear communication.
- Project Execution: Manage website content for multiple projects and ongoing site maintenance concurrently, ensuring delivery to scope, schedule, and quality standards. Develop and maintain project timelines, resource plans, and budgets as needed.
- Campaign Execution: Collaborate with all team members throughout the project - business, creative, strategy, media, vendors, studio, finance, and clients – ensuring effective communication and removing obstacles
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, escalating issues as needed.
- Stakeholder Communication: Manage expectations and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, style guides, and accessibility standards.
- Reporting: Track project progress, manage weekly status reports, and maintain accurate documentation.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years of digital project management experience, specifically with enterprise-level content management platforms (e.g., AEM). Have worked with both onsite and remote teams.
- Methodology: Working knowledge of Agile Framework and JIRA.
- Accessibility: Understanding of accessibility requirements (e.g., WCAG).
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Project Delivery: Solid track record of successfully delivering multiple projects at once from start to completion
- Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, collaborative, and calm under pressure.
- Timelines: Ability to create and manage detailed project timelines and resource plans – i.e. Monday.com or MS Project
- Teamwork: A strong team player. Collaborative and comfortable with new ideas and thinking
Desired Skills and Experiences:
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) content management system.
- Experience working with creative teams and content strategists as well as AEM authors, content QA roles, data and SEO analysts.
- Experience with budget management and forecasting.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or PM training is a plus.
