What We Are Looking For:
The Media Manager (Retail Media Planner) will be responsible for planning, negotiating and executing omnichannel media strategies across several retail media networks. You will be able to manage daily planning and analysis, while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, publishers and partner agencies.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in omnichannel retail media strategy development and execution for a large CPG client's commerce efforts
- Develop and share POVs on new client opportunities
- Manage the daily oversight of campaign activities
- Manage campaign authorizations, budgets, reconciliations
- Act as a liaison between the media and account team to ensure that project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met
- Interact daily and maintain rapport with retail media networks and vendors
- Analyze research data and media/marketing information; shares information with clients
- Monitors and assess ongoing campaign performance; assist in strategic analysis of campaigns
- Monitor and track media spend, compare against client budget, and alert team of any discrepancies
- Developing an understanding of new/emerging media developments and sharing with the broader team internally
Who you are
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Keen attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Able to build relationships across the team, department, vendors and clients
- Proactive and collaborative approach, anticipating potential problems and obstacles to project success, communicating concerns and potential solutions with team
What You'll Need:
- 1-3 years of media planning experience in an agency setting
- Retail Media/Commerce experience highly preferred, but digital media experience also considered
- Experience partnering with cross functional team members including account management, project management, strategy, and creative
