Who we’re looking for: 

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented financial leader to join our team as Senior Financial Reporting & Analysis Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, compliance, and strategic analysis, with the ability to drive accuracy, efficiency, and process improvements across all financial functions. 

Reporting directly to the local Finance Director, with a dotted line to the Regional CFO, this role requires a proactive and solutions-driven professional who can manage financial transactions, reporting, and controls, ensuring full compliance with local, regional, and group policies.

What you’ll be doing: 

As the Senior Financial Reporting & Analysis Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Your responsibilities will span across daily operations, reporting, and financial controls, supporting the CFO and leadership team in making data-driven decisions while maintaining financial integrity. 

1. Financial Operations & Compliance 

  • Manage daily financial operations, ensuring transactions comply with Group policies, local fiscal regulations, and IFRS standards. 
  • Supervise accounting and fiscal closings, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. 
  • Monitor and review all key accounts, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to professional financial judgment. 
  • Ensure smooth collaboration with the Shared Services Center, overseeing financial transactions and ensuring timely monthly closings. 
  • Develop and maintain financial policies & procedures, reviewing them periodically to ensure alignment with local and international regulations. 
  • Establish and maintain a financial calendar, outlining key milestones such as budget preparation, reporting deadlines, and tax submissions. 
  • Coach and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture. 
  • Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging technology and automation to enhance compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. 

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis 

  • Ensure accurate financial reporting structures, implementing proper accounting setups to provide compliant, timely, and insightful reports. 
  • Prepare and deliver consolidated top-line reports, statutory P&Ls, and financial dashboards covering revenue, OPEX, receivables, taxes, and cash flow. 
  • Collaborate with the CFO to define regular reporting requirements and ensure management has visibility into key financial performance indicators. 
  • Proactively identify and escalate financial risks or concerns to leadership. 
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and recommendations, supporting strategic decision-making across the business. 

 

3. Financial Controls & Compliance 

  • Define and implement key financial controls (SOX compliance) in coordination with the CFO and Finance Controller. 
  • Ensure financial controls are executed accurately and on time, maintaining compliance with internal and external audit requirements. 
  • Work closely with internal and external auditors, supporting audit processes and financial governance efforts. 
  • Provide coaching and direction to the finance team to ensure full compliance over daily transactions and accounting/taxes activities and deliver in-depth, accurate and on-time financial reports and controls. 

 4.. Communication & Working Relationships: 

  1. Internal: CFO, Senior Management Team, Regional CFO and team, EMEA SOX team, Internal Auditors, Finance Team 
  2. External: External Auditors 

 

What you’ll need: 

Education & Certifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (mandatory). 
  • MBA or equivalent degree from a renowned university or business school (preferred). 
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CFA are a strong plus. 

Experience: 

  • 10+ years of experience in financial controlling, reporting, and analysis, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within a multinational or complex business environment. 
  • In-depth expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. 
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, tax laws, and compliance regulations. 
  • Proven experience in group financial reporting within a regional or multinational structure. 
  • Hands-on experience with internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit processes. 
  • Familiarity with shared services models and cross-functional financial coordination. 

 

Technical Skills: 

  • Proficiency in financial reporting systems & ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or Microsoft Dynamics. 
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience in financial modeling and data analysis. 
  • Strong understanding of databases, automation tools, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI). 
  • Strong grasp of IFRS and local tax regulations.

  • Detail-oriented and numbers-driven, ensuring high levels of accuracy in financial reporting. 
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills (Arabic & English), capable of translating complex financial data into clear business insights. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present financial reports to senior management. 
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities, fostering a high-performance finance team. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring deadlines are met within tight timeframes. 
  • High ethical standards and integrity, maintaining confidentiality and compliance in all financial matters.
