We are seeking an experienced community manager to join one of the largest teams at VML working on a world-famous family of brands.
HERES WHERE YOU COME IN:
- You're an extremely online trend-seeker and meme enthusiast with a passion for internet culture and short-form writing. You'll act as the eyes, ears and voice of a brand through its owned social channels
- Keep a pulse on online trends, current events, cultural opportunities, and potential controversies or threats relevant to the brand
- Create and manage social media content calendars
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, including user-generated content (UGC), content creator/influencer programs and real-time activations
- Translate trends and real-time moments into creative briefs for internal and content creator partner teams
- Write short-form content that embodies the brand's voice, and support the development and evolution of that voice over time
- Review assets to ensure they are polished; publish with meticulous attention to detail and finesse.
- Monitor, assess and respond to social media mentions, replies and comments
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 years of social marketing experience
- Experience working independently and ability to move projects forward without detailed direction
- Understanding of social platforms and functions, and the ability to share that knowledge with others
- Keen attention to detail ensuring publishing excellence
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
