As a UI/UX Designer Intern at VML, you will gain hands-on experience in creating user-friendly and visually appealing digital experiences. You'll assist in designing wireframes, prototypes, and final interfaces for web and mobile applications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This internship offers a chance to develop your skills in user research, interface design, and usability testing, with guidance from experienced mentors.
What You’ll Do
- Apply UI/UX expertise through various projects in different business areas
- Collaborate with various departments to cover each project's user, business and technical aspects.
- Effectively present ideas and design rationale based on the project scope and requirements to meet the project needs.
- Balancing customer experience and business impact with speed and quality
Who you are
- Background in design (DKV, Graphic Design, Visual Media, etc.)
- Have a portfolio as UI/UX Designer for both mobile and desktop
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
- Have knowledge of Product Design tools and design software (e.g. Figma and Miro)
- Able to sketch ideas into wireframes and user flow
- Good ability to utilize feedback/direction to generate design explorations, as well as iterate those designs
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills, project management and collaborative teamwork with various departments
- Willing to commit to a 3 or 6-month internship program, available to work Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00.
