We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, creativity, and the ability to bring stories to life through compelling video content. You will work closely with our creative and marketing teams to edit, refine, and produce high-quality videos that align with our brand’s vision and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble recorded raw footage into finished projects that match the director’s vision.
- Trim, cut, and merge video clips while ensuring logical sequencing and smooth transitions.
- Insert music, sound effects, graphics, and special effects where needed.
- Review shooting scripts and raw material to create a clear and engaging story.
- Ensure consistency in style, tone, and branding across all video content.
- Collaborate with producers, designers, and content creators to meet project goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques in video editing.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Video Editor (agency or in-house preferred).
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and sound design is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and creativity.
- Basic knowledge of color grading and sound mixing is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- 2–4 years of professional editing experience (portfolio/reel required).
