New beauty hubs are popping up in the travel industry, offering consumers and employees access to consulting, product lines, and wellness perks at every stop of their journey.
Luxury brands are beautifying the travel experience.
Emirates in collaboration with Dior and Davines.
Emirates Airlines announced a new beauty hub for its Cabin Crew in May. Davines hair care brand and luxury beauty brand Dior will now offer Emirates employees bespoke services, personalized appointments and beauty consulting for a range of beauty and wellness offerings: nutrition, make-up application, skin and hair care, and broader best practices for men and women.
“The world of Dior beauty is ‘defined by a spirit of audacity and innovation, accompanied by a thriving tradition of excellence’ that marries perfectly with Emirates commitment to innovation and constant investment into elevating the travel experience,” Emirates said in a statement about its revolutionary employee benefit.
Beauty travel perks are coming to hotels as well. Equinox Hotels now offer guests a RoomBar: a minibar filled with beauty essentials and wellness goods. “Our vision for the RoomBar was to create a one-stop shop to provide our ecosystem of products to guests who want to not only look good but also feel good,” Equinox Hotels VP of food, beverage, and spa Ara Patterson told Glossy in April.
Belmond’s Royal Scotsman
trains began offering a Dior Spa onboard for travelers in April as well. Dior Spa Royal Scotsman now includes an entire carriage catered to the luxury brand’s wellness offering. Perks will include a wellness menu of personalized treatments, massages, facials, and more.
The Intelligence take
Whether for the crew members or eager travelers, luxury brands are meeting customers during their journeys to provide comfort, elegance and joy at every moment.
