At VML Enterprise Solutions, we believe that the future of innovation and technology depends on investing in young talent. The year 2025 was a perfect example. In just four months, as many as 23 talented individuals from three different schools had the chance to contribute to a real-world project, learning from over 20 experienced mentors. This was no ordinary internship – it was our unique and innovative program that allowed young people not only to gain valuable skills but also to create a useful and much-needed product.
The main focus of the program was working on a web application for communicating company events. The interns built it from scratch, developing the project in successive stages. It was a real challenge! From concept and development, through functionality enhancement, to collaboratively fixing bugs and testing solutions.
Under the guidance of our experts, the students delved into the world of the latest technologies we use in commercial projects, such as React, TypeScript, AWS, and GitHub. Additionally, students had the opportunity to use AI tools and learn about aspects of web application cybersecurity. The program also emphasized the development of key soft skills: teamwork, effective communication with a business owner, business communication, and presenting the results of their work. Interns learned both to write code and to operate in a dynamic project environment, transforming ideas into functional solutions.
VML Enterprise Solutions' long-standing cooperation with the education sector is highly valued in the local community. We are proud of Jan Helak, the coordinator of the school cooperation project, who was nominated this year for the "Poznań Volunteer of the Year" award. The initiative also gained widespread recognition on the streets of Poznań. The mentor team, along with a group of mentees from the Zespół Szkół Łączności (School of Communications) in Poznań, participated in a social campaign, actively promoting employee volunteering. The result of this work is a citylight visible in Poznań, showcasing our commitment to sharing knowledge and supporting young people. You can see it at the tram stop on Os. Tysiąclecia in Poznań
