VML Leaders Top Cannes Lions People Rankings

Cannes Lions has recognized three VML leaders in its 2025 People Rankings. Global Chief Creative Officer Debbi Vandeven placed #3 Chief Creative Officer globally, Deputy Global Chief Creative Officer Rafael Pitanguy ranked #4, and Maria Camila Cabra of VML New York was named #6 Art Director globally.

The Cannes Lions Creativity Rankings, released last week, also highlighted VML as the No. 4 global creative network, reflecting the agency’s human-first approach to creativity across regions and disciplines. VML delivered strong performances in all major markets, ranking No. 2 in North America and the Pacific, No. 3 in MENA, No. 4 in Latin America, No. 6 in Europe, and No. 10 in Asia.

At the agency level, VML New York ranked No. 7 globally, with No. 2 in the Experience track. VML Prague placed No. 3 in the Classic track. Across regional offices, VML delivered standout placements, including VML Sydney (No. 3 Pacific), VML Dubai (No. 5 MENA), and VML New York (No. 2 North America).

Several of VML’s brand partners earned recognition among the Top 20 Brands list, including AXA (No. 1), IKEA (No. 10), Coca-Cola (No. 14), and OREO (No. 15), reflecting the network’s focus on creativity that connects brands with people worldwide.
