Dave Thomas Foundation Names VML #1 in Industry for Adoption Benefits for Second Year

VML ranks 33rd overall and leads its industry for the second consecutive year, recognized for outstanding adoption and foster care support
For the second year in a row, VML has been named the #1 company in its industry for adoption benefits by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. The company also secured the 33rd spot overall in the foundation’s 2026 Benchmark Report, marking its 11th consecutive year in the prestigious Top 100 rankings.
The annual report evaluates companies based on their adoption assistance programs, with scores determined by financial reimbursement for adoption-related expenses (45%), paid parental leave for adoptive and foster parents (45%), and the percentage of employees eligible for these benefits (10%). VML’s comprehensive benefits package has once again set the standard for its industry.
In addition to offering financial assistance for adoption-related expenses—including fees, travel, and legal costs—VML provides 12 weeks of paid parental leave for both adoptive and foster parents. This commitment to family support earned the company recognition on multiple breakout lists, including those honoring organizations with exceptional total benefits packages and those providing paid leave to foster parents.
