Created with an internal audience in mind and designed to resonate strongly with Gen Z talent, the campaign showcases the L’Oréal SeedZ Management Trainee Program through a short-form, instantly engaging, and highly shareable content piece crafted for modern social platforms.
Conceptualized, developed, and produced end-to-end by VML, “Make Your Move” leverages playful storytelling and a minimalist 3D visual aesthetic carefully engineered to meet the creative expectations of younger generations. The film captures the progression of SeedZ participants—from onboarding to becoming confident, impact-driven professionals—transforming each rotation, challenge, and mentorship moment into a unified journey of experimentation, growth, and purpose.
“As creatives, our goal with ‘Make Your Move’ was to distill the essence of the SeedZ experience into a bold visual metaphor that speaks to Gen Z’s appetite for clarity, simplicity, and immediacy,” said Alexandre Vivier, Creative Director at VML. “We leaned into a playful, minimalistic 3D world to reflect the fluidity and energy of the program, while designing every frame to feel intuitive, social-first, and share-ready. The challenge was to translate a complex development pathway into a story that feels both universal and inspiring — and that’s exactly what guided our creative direction.”
The film embodies the spirit of the L’Oréal SeedZ experience: a bold, inclusive, and fast-paced environment where every move counts. Through the “seed” metaphor, VML highlights the program’s transformational nature—showing how participants evolve through diverse missions, international exposure, and continuous learning, mirroring L’Oréal’s commitment to empowerment and future-ready leadership.
Rainer Iveson, Director of L'Oréal For Youth, GLOBAL, shared: “L’Oréal SeedZ is more than a graduate program; it’s an accelerator of potential. VML brilliantly translated our vision into a compelling narrative that demonstrates what it means to learn by doing, to experiment, to take risks, and to grow — the foundation on which tomorrow’s leaders are built.”
