Pet food giant, Purina needed to migrate a fragmented technology landscape of hundreds of websites to a new global solution that it could be sure was secure, compliant and empowering for their brand teams. This new platform would enable those teams to create exceptional digital experiences for customers across over 30 markets in more than 25 languages, for 30 brands, overseen by over 200 different stakeholders.

Working with Nestlé’s content production team, VML Commerce and the Purina EMENA business, we designed a team structure and new ways of working that delivered over 350 websites in less than 3 years for over 16 brands.

This included the development of a master code base, content migration to the new sites, the introduction of centralised platform governance, and individual market rollouts, coordinating with more than 200 stakeholders.

Working closely with the content production team, we contributed to the Nestlé LightNest Drupal code distribution and streamlined Go-Live and security compliance processes to the point of going live with 50 sites in a single quarter, and over 10 sites in a single week.
