Who are we when we are also data, profiles, and predictions?
TRAMA Vol IV: The ExistencAI of N@d13_404. Platforms, data, and algorithms for knowing who I am.
Who are we when we are also data, profiles, and predictions?
Data, platforms, algorithms, and AI produce versions of us that can classify us, anticipate our behavior, and intervene in our experience. Identity thus becomes a terrain where the lived, the inferred, the represented, and the simulated overlap—a terrain in which the conditions that make it possible for certain forms of life to emerge, circulate, and be imagined are also contested.

Identity is no longer at stake solely in the realm of self-perception or social representation. It is inscribed in systems that do not need to ask us who we are because they reassemble us from traces, gestures, trajectories, images, and preferences. Life leaves marks that, once separated from the experience that produced them, enter a different field of interpretation and begin to form possible versions of us.
It is no longer just a matter of thinking about who we are, but of asking under what conditions we can appear.
To be. To intervene in the conditions of that appearance. To choose what to be. Which narratives to make resonate, which images to make visible, which associations to stop repeating. To make space for another form to find, for the first time, a scene in which to exist. Identity does not depend solely on this capacity, but neither is it entirely separate from it. Being represented and representing ourselves are part of the same contested fabric.
