Santa Claus may be the busiest person on earth, but even he could use a moment of rest. That idea became the spark for a holiday spot that shows how Ford Pickup & Delivery can give anyone—even Santa—a welcome break.

We are proud of the work with VML and excited to demonstrate the convenience of Ford Pickup & Delivery in such a memorable way. The campaign is a charming reminder that everyone could use more time to rest—and showing that through a character as iconic as Santa Claus makes the message resonate perfectly.

Andrea Howard US Marketing Retail Service Marketing Lead, Ford

Ford wanted to bring more awareness to their remote service offerings including Pickup & Delivery.  They also wanted to convey the value and convenience of it with a message that was human, relatable, timely and would ultimately encourage people to schedule the service.

When concepting this idea that would run throughout the holiday season, the team thought, “Who is the busiest person this time of year.”  The answer was simple – Santa Claus.  The guy in the red suit offered the perfect cultural anchor: a character whose packed schedule everyone understands. Leaning into holiday storytelling created space for a message that could be both charming and warm and still illustrative of the service benefit.

No matter who you are, Ford Pickup & Delivery is so convenient, it gives you time back to focus on the things that matter most—especially around the holidays.    With his Bronco taken care of, Santa finally gets something he rarely has time for: sleep. The idea is simple but powerful—if Ford Pickup & Delivery can save time for the busiest person on earth, it’s a game-changer for everyone else.

The idea rooted in cultural connection and designed to put a smile on people’s faces, was crafted to thrive on social, By showcasing the benefits of Ford Pickup & Delivery through an iconic holiday character, the work offered a fun and memorable way to remind audiences that sometimes the best gift is simply time back. The “Naptime” work ran across social and digital channels, delivering a delightful, human message during the holiday rush.
